Harrogate Comedy Festival: Hawkeye and Windy progress

The pair - based in the north-west - were selected as favourites by the Harrogate Studio theatre audience ahead of nine other acts.

The pair entertained with a selection of satirical songs about current affairs, opinion-splitting newspapers and paninis.

Sometimes blue, always funny, Hawkeye Windy were clear winners on the night, and will stand a good chance at the final on Wednesday, October 15.

They will be joined by Newcastle comedian Lauren Pattison, who was granted passage to the final by the panel of judges representing Daleside Brewery, Stray FM and your Harrogate Advertiser Series.
