Saphir joins HSO for crowdpleasing concert

Harrogate Symphony Orchestra promises a crowd-pleasing programme at its winter concert.

The concert, which takes place on Saturday, November 15 in Harrogate’s beautiful Royal Hall, will open with Beethoven’s delightful Coriolan Overture.

The exceptionally gifted pianist, Julian Saphir will then take centre stage to perform Brahms 2nd Piano Concerto.

The HSO are delighted to be welcoming Julian back to perform with them.

HSO’s conductor and musical director Bryan Western said: “It is great to work with Julian again as the Brahms is such a magnificent work and the Rach 2 is surely one of the best symphonic works ever written and we are looking forward to performing it.”
