A brilliant new children’s book perfect for a Christmas has been launched at Art in the Mill - and based on a true story in Knaresborough.

Written by Pamela E Currie with illustrations by her daughter Fiona Odle, Getting into Mischief is the first in a forthcoming trilogy called The Amazing Adventures of Gus & Barney.

The story is based on true events at the author’s riverside cottage in Knaresborough, where two mischievous friends, Gus the tall white goose, and Barney the Muscovy duck, go on a series of exciting adventures.
