It’s Christmas Market time in Knaresborough

Featuring quality stalls of locally produced fare from independent stallholders, shops and lively entertainment, the event will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7.

It will culminate with a fireworks finale at 5pm on the Sunday.

The entertainment is as follows:

Saturday, December 6:

Stage Area: 10am–11am Recorded Christmas Music, 11am to noon Shepherd Group Band, noon to 12.45pm young singer Niamh back by popular demand, 1pm-2pm Shepherd Group Band, 2pm–4pm The DB Big Band.

Market Square: Noon to 1pm traditional dancing from Ripon City Morris Men and Betty Lupton’s Ladle Laikers, 2pm-3pm Hornbeam Molly dancers

Sunday, December 7:

Stage Area: 10.15am–11.15am Knaresborough Ukelele Band, 11.30am–12.30pm Knaresborough Silver Band, 12.30pm–1pm Choir of St John’s Church, 1pm–1.45pm King James’s Riverside Jazz Band, 2pm–3pm Knaresborough Silver Band, 3pm–4pm Knaresborough Choral Society

Market Square: 2pm–3pm Chew-it-Well Mummers

Castle Area and Waterside: 5pm Firework finale
