A spokesperson said: "We wanted to support some local businesses that have been particularly hard hit over the past few months, whilst also creating a safe event for people to attend when there is not a lot going on.
"Lockdown and social distancing have been a drag for most of us, so our Skylit Drive-In Cinema events will bring back some good old entertainment! Whilst social distancing will still be in place at the event, our aim is to create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can enjoy great movies from the comfort of their own car."

Guests will also have the chance to order a range of food and drinks throughout the film to make it a proper cinema experience. The event will be run within Covid-safe guidelines, current at the time of the event, including toilets and hand-wash stations which will be available for use.
