Brewed with Cascade and Goldings hops, orange and mixed peel, Blitzen has chocolate and spice notes to create a taste and aroma which is distinctively Christmassy.

Jo Theakston, Black Sheep Brewery’s sales and marketing director, said: “Blitzen is a cheeky Christmas surprise from Black Sheep Brewery. It’s a perfect match for Christmas pudding with lashings of brandy cream

“The microbrewery has proved a great success in allowing us to innovate with our beers.”

The Black Sheep Brewery in Masham made its first beer in 1992 after being built up by Paul Theakston, whose family had brewed in the area for six generations.
