Bettys chocolatier Robin Kendall said: “One of my responsibilities is to make the huge chocolate shells for the Imperial Egg. We only makes a very limited number of these eggs: on average between 10-15 a year. It takes about a day to create just one.”

Claire Gallagher, Bettys chocolate expert and head of food and drink innovation, said: “Chocolate craft at Bettys is all about the attention to detail, the skills we have honed and worked on for generations and the passing on of knowledge. These skills and knowledge have given Bettys a point of difference and a pride and passion in what we do."
