It’s all systems go for the first-ever Knaresborough Comedy Festival which is launched at Frazer Theatre on July 14.

Top comics Tony Law and Harriet Dyer are first on stage for three days of laughter and fun in an impressive programme of shows which could be the Edinburgh Fringe.

Running until Saturday night, July 16, The Knaresborough Comedy Festival 2016 will bring an unprecedented array of talent to the town.

Frazer Theatre vice-chairman John Pearce said “As a life-long fan of stand-up comedy, it is a genuine dream come true to be able to announce this incredible festival.

“Since the Frazer Theatre Comedy Club launched in 2014 we’ve built up a reputation within the comedy community for providing great audiences in a wonderful venue. Now we are reaping the benefits of that reputation with the willingness of such top-level acts to bring their shows here.”

The line-up also includes nationally-renowned Justin Moorhous, Jason Cook and Stephen Carlin.
