High quality drama from local writers is on show at the Playhouse, Pateley Bridge next week with the production of Yorkshire Mixture.
The evening will open with four very different pieces by Grassington writer Keith Bromley.
In the style of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads these four pieces are brilliant insights into modern life, with feature performances from a strong cast – juniors Brenna Smith and Mia Hirst, and Playhouse favourites Joyce Liggins, Steve Hunt and Nevin Ward.
And in the second half is a new play from Pateley Bridge’s Keith Burton, a strongly-written drama which brings the best out of actors Ruth Dodsworth and Ben Derrick.
Yorkshire Mixture runs from Thursday, March 6 to Saturday, March 9 at 7.30pm nightly. Tickets cost £8 and are available from The Playhouse on Saturdays between 2pm and 4pm, or by ringing 0781 696 1854 between 2pm and 6pm Mondays - Saturdays. More information from www.pateleyplayhouse.co.uk
