A trio of the circuit’s leading comedians are set to descend next week at popular Harrogate stand-up club, Sitting Room.
This year, the club’s second, has seen the club go from strength to strength and welcome the likes of Mike Gunn (Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow), Gary Delaney (Mock the Week) and Justin Moorhouse (Phoenix Nights).
Next Wednesday’s line-up at the St George Hotel at 8pm is headlined by multi-award-winning comedian, songwriter, and playwright Boothby Graffoe.
With songs that are both beautiful and very funny, Stewart Lee described him as a musical comedy act who is more musical than most musicians, and funnier than most comedians.
Joining Boothby are Nick Doody and rising star Iain Stirling. Nick brought his unfailingly good punchlines to Sitting Room in February 2012 and, following a number of appearances on the Now Show and the News Quiz, his act continues to get better and better.
Chortle Best Newcomer nominee, Iain Stirling is fast making a name for himself, partly through an appearance on Russell Howard’s Good News.
Tickets for the show are available in advance available from www.sittingroomcomedy.com or the St George reception.
Online tickets are also available for two high profile shows on Wednesday, June 12 with Tom Stade, and Wednesday, July 17 with Andi Osho.
