HARROGATE Theatre have today announced the full-line up for their 2011 Comedy Festival which will be held at the venue between October 10-22.
More than 30 comedians will perform across the Main Auditorium and Studio Theatre in just 12 days. This is the third year Harrogate Theatre have organised the event and last years Festival brought over 6,500 people to the Theatre over its two weeks.
Harrogate Theatre’s aim for the Festival is to showcase the widest possible mix of comedy shows and performers with the line-up for 2011 combining establishednames alongside emerging talent to ensure that all tastes are catered for over the 12 days.
Once again this year there will be some exclusive events which mark Harrogate Comedy Festival as a rising fixture on the comedy circuit attracting top comedians who want to perform in the intimate environment of Harrogate Theatre.
Appearances include: Al Murray, Ed Byrne, Jon Richardson, Shappi Khorsandi and Russell Kane amongst many others
The Studio Theatre is once again to have a full festival line-up of shows including The Boy With Tape On His Face, Alex Horne and Peacock & Gamble
There will be a rare appearance from Comedy Legend Nicholas Parsons
And Comedy Workshop to give people the chance to learn all the skills needed to become a stand-up comedian
James Campbell brings his highly acclaimed comedy show for children
It will be the first appearance at Harrogate Thatre of The Sunday Roast with Andre Vincent – a spin off from Radio 4’s The Late Edition
