Caleld Plucked, the new show, follows a woman’s journey from beauty to beast and beyond.
Drawing on images and themes from life and myth, Plucked blends live video-feed painting, puppetry and animation to tell a very real fairy tale that is scary, haunting, funny and tragic.

Invisible Thread was formed in 2011 by Liz Walker as one of the two companies created out of the split of the internationally renowned puppet and visual theatre company Faulty Optic.
Liz was a founding partner and joint artistic director of Faulty Optic and toured extensively presenting their shows in most Western European countries as well as Canada, America and Indonesia.
Renowned for creating worlds unique to the puppet characters which inhabit them, they garnered huge praise from audiences and critics alike for their eccentric and often shocking imagery, which was combined with dark, ironic but warm humour.
