ST John Fisher Catholic High School is staging a special production of The Wizard of Oz later this month in Harrogate.
To be held in the school hall from November 23-25, this truly family show is notable for its colourful scenery, wonderful story and iconic songs.
Musical director, Rachel Brooks said: “All the students have worked extremely hard to produce one of our best ever shows.
“The main characters are played by accomplished performing arts, drama, dance students who have appeared in top class productions out of school, at venues including Harrogate Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse and on television.”The famous story begins when a tornado hits the house of a young girl called Dorothy in Kansas who is then transported to the land of Oz, where she meets a host of wonderful characters on her journey to find her way back home.
