Deer Shed Festival is back for a fourth time later this month near Topcliffe in North Yorkshire and it promises the best line up yet.

Edwyn Collins, House of Love, Darwin Deez and Gaz Coombs, King Creosote, The Unthanks, Tubular Bells for Two, Willy Mason The Milk , Public Service Broadcasting. . .but it’s not just music on offer over the three days from July 19 to July 21.

Being a famously family-friendly festival, there’s plenty of family-friendly activities and adventures taking place, including CBBC’s Big Howard Little Howard a legendary toy company, Meccano.

Comedy includes Steve Best, of BBC1’s The Stand Up Show and Justin Moorhouse from the seminal Phoenix Nights and 8 out of 10 Cats on Channel 4.

Plus there’s a beer festival run by York Brewery and a sports field run by Rounders England who will be bringing all sorts of active fun and games.

The final music slots were announced last month with a whole host of top indie and folk acts added to what was already a high quality bill.

These included the supremely talented Eugene McGuinness, sultry Peggy Sue, indie indulgence from Deep Sea Arcade, Liverpudlian quintet Death at Sea, the soulful harmonies of Luke Sital-Singh, acoustic trio Park Bench Society and Leeds duo, Dancing Years.

As always, Deer Shed offers festival goers the chance to camp amid the picturesque views in Baldersby Park.
