Members of what, briefly, became one of my favourite Harrogate bands are to play live at the latest Friday Night Mix at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Café in Knaresborough.

The new project is led by Rufus Beckett, an ex-member of The Four 45s, and organiser of this monthly free live music night.

Other local bands appearing on Friday, May 30 from 7.30pm include the following:

Hell Fire Jack: Exciting modern blues-rockers formed from the ashes of Idle Maestro.

Fauns: Influenced by Love, 13th Floor Elevators, The Fall, Bert Jansch and more

Heaven’s Waiting Room: Young two-piece acoustic act.

Beckett is also behind this year’s Bedfest at Henshaws on Saturday, June 14.

The massive line-up of local acts includes Set Sails, PseudoNympho, The Shades, Oscillantern, Modern Day Dukes, Red Ocean Nectar, The Arc of Manapples, Aaron Bertenshaw, Adam Tait, Tre plus Hell Fire Jack and Heaven’s Waiting Room.
