There’s a reminder of the growing trend for wine, art and charity to come together in the Harrogate area with a special fundraising event for Saint Michael’s Hospice.
Impressions of Yorkshire Art Exhibition and Fine Wine Tasting will take place on Thursday, May 1 at the hospice itself at Hornbeam Park Avenue.
The Knaresborough Fundraising Group are inviting guests to an explosion of the senses in aid of Saint Michael’s Hospice.
Running from 6.30pm-8.30 pm, there’s the chance to see an array of original paintings, photography and print - all from Yorkshire artists.
The tasting session is courtesy of Ake and Humphris, the independent wine and beer
specialists located at Leeds Road, Harrogate.
There will also be canapés.
Saint Michael’s exists to improve the lives of people in the Harrogate district who are affected by terminal illness.
As an independent charity it receives less than 20 per cent funding from the government and relies on voluntary donations from the public.
Saint Michael’s Hospice is situated at Crimple House, Hornbeam Park Avenue, Harrogate.
