Fans of the current series of BBC TV’s ratings winner Strictly Come Dancing can see the stars live on stage at First Direct Arena in Leeds.
The new venue will host the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2014 in January and the first raft of celebrities to take part have been announced.
Hosted by former Strictly favourite Lisa Riley, the star names announced so far include ex-England rugby player and chairman of the anti-bullying StandUp Foundation, Ben Cohen, who went out in last weekend’s dance-off and popular actor Mark Benton who, somewhat improbably, stayed in.
The other celebrity contestant announced for the tour is Coronation Street star Natalie Gumede, one of this series’s highest scorers.
Natalie said: “I’m hugely excited to be part of the Strictly tour.
“Dancing for all the fans who have voted to keep me in the show will be really special, I can’t wait.”
Mark Benton said: “Entertaining arena audiences with my ever evolving dance steps will be a fantastic way to start the new year! I cannot wait to hit the road.”
The judges on tour will include familiar faces Craig Revel Horwood, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli
More celebrities will be announced soon for the Strictly tour which arrives at First Direct Arena in Leeds for three days from Friday, January 24 to Sunday, January 26.
