KING James’s School is issuing an open invitation to its annual Design and Technology exhibition, being held on Wednesday, May 2 at 7pm in the Chaloner Hall at the Knaresborough school.

The showcase celebrates the success of GCSE and A Level students and features some outstanding creative work, including illuminating lighting projects, stunning water features, pop-up books, jewellery, games and much more.

And the fashion show brings catwalk glamour to Knaresborough, with an array of designs ranging from prom dresses to outfits for festivals and commercially viable outfits to clothing made from recycled materials. Year 13 students have written their own briefs, producing a wedding dress and elegant evening dresses inspired by past fashions.

There will be an opportunity for guests to sample some mouth-watering canapés produced by King James’s catering students, who are looking forward to welcoming the local community.
