Children at Goldsborough primary school have held a spring fair to welcome the season.
The fair took place on Saturday, April 27 and included attractions from exotic animals to a name a teddy stand.
The event was organised by the Friends of Goldsborough School – or FROGS – but this year saw pupils take over from their parents and teachers and run the event.
The children ran arts and crafts stall, organised activities like hook-a-duck and guess the number of sweeties in a jar.
Mum and PTA member Alison Garlick said: “It went really well. We had a little cafe with hot roast pork sandwiches and it was a lovely couple of hours.”
The fair was the first of FROGS’ annual fundraising events and will be followed by a summber BBQ.
The day raised £613, which will be donated to school funds. The PTA’s fundraising has helped pay for things like ipads for the pupils, swimming lessons, and gardening at the school.
