HARROGATE lad Robbie Youhill scored Harrogate Town’s only goal in their important 1-0 victory over Gainsborough Trinity.

The Blue Square North victory makes it two in a row for Simon Weaver’s men.

Town had ‘keeper Mark Cook as the sides went it the break at 0-0.

But with both chasing the victory is was Youhill’s 51st minute strike that pinched all three points for Town.

HARROGATE RAILWAY were thrashed 5-1 away at Garforth Town.

KNARESBOROUGH TOWN beat Glasshoughton Welfare 2-1 to book a place in the quarter-final of the West Yorkshire League Cup.

They will play local rivals Boroughbridge in the last 16 at home. ‘Bridge, meanwhile, beat Wetherby Athletic 2-0 in the West Yorkshire Premier League.
