Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver was more than pleased to see his side romp to an entertaining 3-1 win at home to Worcester City on Saturday.

It was Town’s first game at their home base since December 15, and although the clash risked a late postponement because of the pitch, the coach was delighted to see his troops respond in the manner they did.

Paul Beesley netted a brace interspersed by a Chib Chilaka goal in front of 412 at the CNG Stadium.

The win leaves Town eighth in the Blue Square North table, ahead of Tuesday’s hosting of Droyslden.
