Town through in FA Cup but Rail' beaten at home
HARROGATE Town reached the third qualifying round of the FA Cup on Saturday, winning 2-0 at New Mills.
Harrogate Town go into Monday's draw after an own goal and a Graeme Armstrong penalty ensured safe passage to the next stage.
Elsewhere, HARROGATE RAILWAY were beaten 3-2 in the last minute at home to high-flying Lancaster City in the EvoStik First Division North.
Railway were a goal down at the break, but surged back with two goals in two minutes after the restart through Danny Husband and Jon Maloney.
City levelled through Mike Rushton after a defensive mix-up between Rail' keeper Chris Elliot and Husband, before skipper Andrew Teague stuck a foot out to poke past Elliot after a Paul Jarvis corner in the second minute of injury time.
