WETHERBY Castlegarth Tennis Club is opening its doors to all new members keen to pick up a racquet.

Head coach Angela Crossley and assistant head coach Imogen Wyatt are keen to grow the club’s current programme, extending it to beginners of all ages and abilities.

“I think in the past the tennis club has been seen as a members-only club but that’s definitely not the case,” said Angela.

“We’ve got a very strong coaching team who are here to help players of all abilities from beginners right up to top juniors and seniors.

“We’re also running courts at Boston Spa School so tennis in the area is really being made a priority.”

An Open Day is being held on April 14 for anyone keen to join, or rediscover a love of tennis is more than welcome to head down to the tennis club between 2-4pm.

Wetherby Castlegarth Tennis Club is based on Scott Lane, and is open throughout the week and on weekends.
