HARROGATE Railway travel across the Pennines on Tuesday night, to take on Radcliffe Borough in the Evo-Stik First Division North (7.45pm kick-off).

Nigel Danby’s side are desperate for points to keep them away from the division’s dropzone, but were hampered in their search on Saturday when the game at home to AFC Farsley was postponed because of a frozen pitch.

The Station View side badly need to set the record straight against Radcliffe, who inflicted a 10-3 thumping upon Railway earlier this season.

Saturday was Rail’s second home fixture in seven days to be wiped out by the snow.

The previous Saturday’s proposed clash against Witton Albion was also called off, leaving Danby with a real headache in terms of training facilities.

“We’ve tried to get something indoor, but everything’s booked up,” added Danby.

“We can’t get on the pitch, it’s a nightmare.”
