Rail' pick up crucial away point

HARROGATE Railway collected a potentially crucial point on their travels to Salford City on Tuesday night with a 1-1 draw in UniBond First Division North.

Phil Sharpe's men came into the contest on fire after picking up successive wins against Garforth and Lancaster City respectively.

They took the lead in Lancashire on 14 minutes through Steve Palfrey. However Rhodri Giggs- brother of BBC Sports Personality of the Year Ryan Giggs- levelled the match on 36 minutes.

Rail' will be looking to extend their unbeaten streak to four games on Saturday when they welcome Trafford to Station View (3pm ko). They will then gear up for a trip to Ossett Albion next Tuesday (7.45pm ko).
