Ashington sign Town’s Tait

HARROGATE Town midfielder Michael Tait has signed for Northern League outfit Ashington.
The North East based player was signed from Blyth Spartans at the start of the season.
Speaking to the New Post Leader, Colliers boss Gary Middleton said: “Michael is not cup tied for the FA Vase and that’s one of the reasons why we have brought him in.
“We have a wafer thin squad and we are trying to find players who are not Vase tied – that is the difficulty.
“Michael will be a great addition with his quality in midfield and will add to our pool of players, not only for the Vase but also for our push in the league.
“We have brought a real quality player in and hopefully he will have an impact.”
