All systems go at Town

HARROGATE Town attempt to play their first league game at the CNG Stadium since November tonight, when they welcome Hinckley United for a Blue Square North encounter (7.45pm kick-off).

After Saturday's game against Celtic was swapped to the visitors Bower Fold ground because of a frozen pitch, and then subsequently cancelled, officials at Town say there are no reasons why tonight's match cannot go ahead.

Speaking on the club website, General Manager and Secretary Alan Williams said:

"It would take a serious deterioration in the weather overnight or tomorrow, and none is forecast, for the game to be in any sort of doubt.

"If the pitch is in the same state tomorrow as it is today, then an inspection will not be required.

"We would like to thank again all those fans who have helped out with work on the pitch over the last few weeks."
