Wetherby Golf Club course professional Mark Daubney provides his latest golf tip.
Mark says: “Driver and putter tend to be the most emotive clubs in golf so getting them right for you is imperative.
We tend to custom fit most people here as we can use our knowledge of launch angles, spin rates, club head speeds and a whole host of other data to suggest heads and shafts that will work with your swing and help you hit longer and straighter without even having to practice.
“Generally most people we fit have the wrong loft and often wrong flex for starters. So the moral here really is don`t just try before you buy but get a proper fitting, it will pay off.”
