THE winners of the Studfold Primary School Easter Egg Competition have been announced.

This community event was run by the Studfold Explore Discover and Learn Adventure Trail and linked with the Bettys & Taylors’ Recycling Cone Exchange.

All the entries will be displayed on the annual Great Studfold Easter Egg Hunt, which runs from the April 1 to 15.

Mrs Lyon, from Nidderdale High School, said she had had great fun judging the amazing variety of eggs.

“The entries were lovely to see, and the ideas the children displayed were varied, making good use of a range of items suitable for recycling,” she said.

“It was a difficult task to select the winners.”

Anne Challis, from Studfold, said: “I would like to thank all the children and staff for taking part. It was a great local competition, made all the better due to their amazing efforts.

“In fact we awarded a number of highly-commended certificates, due to the fact there were so many fantastic entries.”
