harrogate Town were felled 2-0 away at Nuneaton’s Triton Stadium on Saturday, in the Blue Square North.
Having lost 2-0 to Nuneaton earlier this season, Town went a goal down in the 45th minute when the hosts were awarded a penalty.
Danny Glover successfully converted the spot kick before Adam Walker added a second goal 11 minutes later.
Town sit 14th in the table, and play Guiseley at home on Boxing Day.
Meantime, HARROGATE RAILWAY drew 2-2 at home to Prescot Cables in the Evo-Stik First Division North.
Up the road at Claro Road, HARROGATE RUFC were crushed 10-40 by visitors Westoe.
The promotion pushers ran in six tries to Harrogate’s two, scored by Ryan Peacey and Tim Heaton.
The power cut which hit the town on Saturday afternoon meant there was no electricity at Claro Road, although this did not affect the match.
Harrogate return to National Two North action in January.
