The squad, including boss Paul Marshall, headed to The White Rooms in Leeds to record the single which fans can download online.

Director Jimmy Gore said: “We wanted to galvanise the excellent squad that we have established in our aim to get promoted this season. We felt this would be excellent for team bonding and it has certainly proved to be so.

“We wanted to sell the record to help towards our appeal to raise £10,000 to put a roof over the main terracing at the i2i Stadium.

“We’re really keen to keep our fans warm and dry as they continue to support the team.”

Meanwhile, Albion’s title charge continued on Saturday with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Athersley Recreation.
Liam Ormsby’s first half free-kick was the difference between the two teams.

Albion welcome local rivals Garforth Town to the i2i Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
