HARROGATE Town came from two-nil down on Tuesday night to secure a point from their Blue Square North hosting of Blyth Spartans.
Going a goal down in the 16th minute after Stephen Turnbull netted for the visitors, Town were then hit early in the second half when defender Alan White headed home Spartans’ second of the night in the 56th minute.
But the introduction of striker Chibuzor Chilaka for Oliver Forsyth in the 60th minute sparked a comeback, and Town made it 2-1 in the 67th minute thanks to a Craig James direct free kick 35 yards out.
Then despite being fouled just outside the box, winger Richard Marshall (on loan from Halifax) managed to get the ball out to striker Graeme Armstrong, who lashed in the equaliser.
Armstrong almost claimed the winner two minutes from time when he hit the crossbar.
Town welcome Gainsborough Trinity to the CNG Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
