It promises to be an exciting 2012/13 with FC Halifax, Guiseley and Bradford Park Avenue all in the mix.

He has already announced one signing, who he hopes will be a fans favourite.

Defender Shane Killock has agreed to join the club after being released by Telford, and his new boss is delighted he’s put pen to paper.

“He will be a golden boy here,” he said.

“I’m delighted to have got him, I knew I had to get in there fast because there’d be a lot of clubs after him.”

Weaver is hopeful of naming another target in the next few days.

Meanwhile, he has also revealed the pre-season friendlies.

A journey to Ossett Albion has been pencilled in on July 21, followed by another away game at Tadcaster Albion on July 24.

An inaugural trip to Northern Ireland will happen on July 28 to play Crusaders with another fixture against Knaresborough Town on either July 14 or 31st.

Weaver is trying to arrange the annual John Smith’s Cup fixture against Harrogate Railway with the club looking to officially open the new pitch in August, hopefully against a Leeds United XI.

Further home games against Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers are also on the cards.
