Harrogate Town cantered to a straightforward 3-0 win over strugglers Redditch United at the CNG Stadium on Tuesday night.

Just two minutes into the game against the Blue Square North’s bottom side, Chib Chilaka set up Graeme Armstrong for the opening goal.

Chilaka was then brought down in the box on the hour mark which handed Armstrong a penalty kick and he made no mistake fromthe spot.

Finally winger Wayne Phillips netted the third three minutes later with an impressive individual goal.

Town entertain Gloucester City on Saturday (3pm).

Meantime HARROGATE RAILWAY were also in action, and enjoyed a 2-1 victory over Prescot Cables in the Evo Stik League First Division.

Railway went 2-0 up after, Liam Gray and Luke Durham fired home, although Prescot snatched a consolation in the final minute.

Railway’s hectic week continues on Thursday when they entertain Warrington (7.45pm).
