Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver says he won’t be ‘held for ransom’ in his search for a new striker.

Weaver has been working hard this week, talking to a number of possible transfer targets.

But at the moment, it’s proving fruitless.

“I’m not going to be held to ransom,” he said.

“If they want to come it’s got to be on sensible money.”

Town have already signed Shane Killock and Dwayne Samuels as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of the 2012/13 season.
