Thirsk Falcons will play in the Teesside League next season after their application to move up a standard was accepted according to boss George Peirse.
They will be joined by local rivals Bedale.
The Falcons boss can’t wait: “We’ve been looking to move up a standard for a while.
“The players want it and that’s good. We start in Division Two but it means we’ll be able to play to in the North Riding County Cup next season.”
It means all change for the Harrogate Premier League next term.
One team who will be staying is Kirk Deighton. They applied to move into the West Yorkshire League but it is currently full.
