Paul Marshall’s Tadcaster Albion caused the upset of the latest FA Cup round, toppling high-flying Skelmersdale United 4-1 at home.
The visitors, who are currently third in the Evo-Stik League First Division North, were hit for six right from the start by the Brewers.
Steve Jeff shot Taddy ahead with an 11th minute penalty.
But it was Callum Ward who stole the show for the Northern Counties Premier side, slamming in a hat-trick to send Albion through to the third qualifying round.
He netted his first to make it 2-0 ten minutes after the penalty.
After Skelmersdale pulled it back to 2-1 through Joshua Hine, Ward scored in the 49th and 64th minute.
Blue Square North side Harrogate Town however will face a second qualifying round replay on Tuesday after drawing 2-2 at Northern Leaguers West Auckland Town.
Chib Chilaka’s two goals were cancelled out by a penalty and last-minute equaliser.
