Harrogate Railway got back to winning ways on Saturday, beating Prescot Cables 1-0 in the EvoStik First Div North.

Dan Thirkell netted the only goal in the first half, drifting in unmarked on to a Colin Hunter corner.

Meantime, Tadcaster Albion crushed Bridlington 4-1 on the east coast.

Calum Ward, Danny Critchlow, Carl Stewawrt plus a Rikki Paylor own goal sealed victory for Paul Marshall’s men, who stay top of the NCEL Premier.

Knaresborough Town crushed Appleby Frodingham 4-0 in the NCEL First Division.

West Yorkshire League reigning champions hammered Whitkirk Wanderers 9-0 at home, Boroughbridge lost 3-1 at home to Brighouse, Wetherby Athletic lost 3-2 at Kippax and Ripon City lost 3-2 at East End Park.
