A PREMIER League goalkeeper says his loan spell at Harrogate Town has improved him as a player.
Hotly-tipped Sunderland youngster Ben Wilson told the club’s official website that his three games for the Wetherby Road outfit had helped him gain first-team experience.
“Going out on loan gave me that chance to get some games under my belt,” he said.
“I played three games at Harrogate and the experience I gained was really valuable. Results didn’t go our way, but even at that level just being part of a game was great.”
