Heavy rain over Christmas has caused a raft of postponements in the Boxing Day football schedule.

Harrogate Railway's trip to Farsley Celtic failed a morning inspection, while Knaresborough Town's home North Yorkshire derby against Selby Town has also been called off.

A 10am inspection at Garforth Town also fell on the side of the weather, ending any prospect of the local derby against NCEL leaders Tadcaster Albion.

However, Harrogate Town's trip to Stockport County in Vanarama National North is set to go ahead (3pm kick-off) after passing a morning inspection.

Town could welcome new signing Lassana Sidibe, brother of former Stoke City forward, into their squad.

The 28-year-old is a striker and has been a free agent since leaving French side Luzenac AP.
