A HAT-TRICK for marksman Chib Chilaka earned Harrogate Town three points at home to Gloucester City on Saturday.
The Bradford City striker slammed in three goals, two before half-time, to guide Town to a 3-0 victory.
He returns to Valley Parade now his loan spell is over but has been in prolific form since his arrival at the CNG Stadium.
He scored as early as the third minute after a super ball from winger Wayne Phillips, and then added a second in the 35th minute, with a lob over City ‘keeper Kevin Sawyer.
City hit the post twice during the match, but Chilaka was always too much to handle, as he fired in a third after a Richard Marshall cross into the box after 78 minutes.
The win sees Town unbeaten in five games, ahead of Tuesday night’s home clash with Blue Square North leaders AFC Telford.
Town sit 14th in the table.
Meantime, HARROGATE RAILWAY put up a fantastic fight in Chester in front of a 2,000-strong home crowd before losing 3-2 to the Evo-Stik League First Division North high-flyers.
Wayne Harratt and Steve Palfrey scored in the 13th and 49th minute.
Railway were also in action on Thursday, beaten 3-1 at home to Warrington.
