Harrogate Railway will start their Evo-Stick Northern Premier First Division North campaign by hosting boss Billy Miller’s home town club to Salford City on August 17.
Railway the travel to league newcomers Padiham on August 21 before another away day to last year’s league runners up Cammell Laird on August 24.
Miller’s side’s first encounter with giants Darlington 1883 will be on September 21 at Heritage Park.
“It’s a hard start for the lads this year as always,” said Miller. “Each game will be a difficult test. WE are well aware of that.”
Rivals Farsley arrive at Station View on Boxing Day before an away day to Wakefield on New Year’s Day. ‘Rail’ will then end their season at home to Warrington on April 26.
Miller’s men started their pre-season campaign in defeat on Saturday when they lost 2-0 to Silsden. They will be in action on Sunday at AFC Emley (kick-off 1pm) and on Tuesday at Glasshoughton Welfare (7.30pm).
Miller added: “The squad is starting to take shape. We have some great talent and have added what we believe to be a bit of depth.
“Pre-season is going well and the lads are beginning to step up and work hard to ensure we reach the start of the season at the right tempo.”
