Former Harrogate Town pair Chib Chilaka and Lee Elam have signed for Conference North rivals Bradford Park Avenue.

The pair were released by Town boss Simon Weaver at the end of last season.

The duo join forward Danny Forrest at Park Avenue after the club announced his departure on Wednesday.

Park Avenue finished in seventh last season, one place below the CNG-outfit.

Chilaka has previously played on loan for Bradford Park Avenue when he was on the books of neighbours Bradford City.

Elam, 35, is also making his second stop at Park Avenue after previously playing for the club at the end of the 2009-10 season.

He started 16 matches for Town last season but made more of an impression as a substitute, coming off the bench 20 times.

The veteran midfielder made 75 appearances in total for Town in his two year stint.

Chilaka became an instant Town hero when he hit the winner against Torquay United last year to take the club into the FA Cup second round.

The powerful striker struck 26 goals in 66 matches for Town after signing from Braintree Town in February 2012.
