Tadcaster Albion recovered from Saturday’s defeat at Scarborough Athletic as they eased past Long Eaton United 5-2 on Tuesday night.
Winger Kyle Hawthorne struck twice to help Paul Marshall’s side to a comfortable victory against the East Midlands outfit.
Scott McGrory, Callum Ward and Terry Taylor were also on the scoresheet.
Albion dominated possession at the 2inspire Stadium and carved open the Long Eaton defence with regularity.
Taddy led 3-2 at half-time before scoring two more in the second period.
The win leaves Albion in fifth place in the NCEL Premier Division, four points above Retford United who have played four games less.
Marshall said: “We created lots of opportunities and we could have scored 10.
“Every Tuesday away from home is a difficult game and for them to travel up through the bad weather as well it was hard.
“They were quite a young team and they gave their all.
“But they weren’t the best team we have played all year.”
