Harrogate Town signed off the 2013-14 Skrill North campaign with a 3-1 defeat at Stockport County on Saturday.
Dominic Rowe shot Town into the lead with a 25-yard curling half volley but hosts Stockport hit back with two goals, and a controversial third to seal the win.
There was a question over whether the final one had crossed the line, but it stood to complete a 3-1 win for Stockport.
Town end the season ninth in the division.
Elsewhere, Harrogate Railway legend Colin Hunter played his final game in the red and green colours.
Sadly it ended in a 2-0 defeat at home to Warrington.
The game also saw was was thought to be a flare go off at Station View, causing damage to a supporter’s jacket.
Railway finish 13th in the EvoStik First Division North.
Knaresborough Town beat Dinnington Town 2-0 in the NCEL First Division, wrapping up a sixth place spot.
Liam Grey and Blaine Hobson got the goals.
Tadcaster Albion finish second in the NCEL Premier, four points behind Brighouse Town.
They beat Liversedge 4-0 in their last game of the league season.
Boroughbridge lost 4-1 to champions Bardsey, who retained their West Yorkshire Premier crown for another season last weekend.
Ripon City drew 1-1 at Beeston, while Wetherby Athletic lost 4-1 at Field.
