Ashley Worsfold put Town ahead at the CNG Stadium before both sides were reduced to ten men.
Adam Bolder was dismissed for the Sulphurites while James Knowles saw red for Park Avenue.
Town were looking on course for a third straight Skrill North win until Walker stole a point for Avenue late on.
The draw leaves Town eighth in Skrill North. They play Ossett Albion in the West Riding County Cup semi final on Tuesday evening at home, kick off 7.45.
Calum Ward scored a hat-trick for Tadcaster Albion on his return to the club as Paul Marshall’s men thrashed lowly Winterton Rangers 6-0 at 2inspire Park.
Ward’s treble was assisted with further strikes from Carl Stewart, Danny Critchlow and Denny Ingram.
Albion remain second in NCEL Premier, four points behind Barton Town Old Boys with a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Harrogate Railway’s trip to Mossley in Evo-Stik First Division One North was postponed.
