HARROGATE Town improved on Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Boston United with Monday’s 3-3 draw away at Blyth Spartans.
Town went 2-0 up at Blyth in the first ten minutes, thanks to goals from Peter Bore and Callum Hassan.
But Blyth hit back and were level by the 25th minute through Coulson and Armstrong.
Railway dug out a third thanks to Laurie Wilson’s goal but Blyth’s Coulson claimed a second goal of the afternoon to earn Spartans a point.
Harrogate Railway also bounced back from Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Curzon Ashton by claiming a 1-0 win over Clitheroe on Monday in the Evo-Stik League First Division North.
Wayne Harratt netted in the 50th minute to secure all three points.
