Ten-man Harrogate Town fought back from a goal down to draw at Gainsborough Trinity in Blue Square North on Monday.
The home side went into the break a goal to the good through a Terry Hawkridge penalty after Alan White had hand-balled in the box.
White was given his marching orders for a foul on 53 minutes, leaving Simon Weaver’s side with a mountain to climb.
But they stuck to their guns and levelled on 55 minutes through Paul Beesley’s excellent strike.
Trinity pushed hard with the extra man late in the game and had a second goal disallowed. But Town stood firm to collect a share of the spoils.
