TADCASTER Albion welcome Parkgate to the Park tonight, for their next NCEL Premier encounter (7.45pm).

Paul Marshall’s troops will be looking for three points to keep their championship hopes alive.

Albion are down to eighth in the table after a poor run of results after the new year, but are showing signs of a resurgence.

After a 3-0 win over Long Eaton United, Albion returned with a point from Pickering Town on Saturday, thanks to a 1-1 draw against ex-boss Jimmy Reid’s troops.

Tom Corner slammed home a goal in the 66th minute for Albion after Pickering’s Tom Fenwick bagged the opener two minutes into the second half.

Parkgate currently sit two places above Albion in sixth so will be no pushovers, but Saturday is the big one for Marshall’s men.

They welcome NCEL Premier leaders Bridlington Town in a crucial contest (3pm). Bridlington beat Nostell Miners Welfare 6-0 at the weekend.
