Harrogate CC continued their dominance of the ECB Yorkshire League, beating Yorkshire Academy on Saturday.
Academy won the toss and put Harrogate into bat, where they racked up 199-4.
Top scorers were Alexis Twigg (78) and Vic Craven (72).
Academy made 153-7 in reply, Ollie Driver finishing with a decent haul of 4-12.
Alex Lilley, Ben Driver and youngster Sam Davies claimed one wicket apiece.
Harrogate lead the league table, and host Sheffield Collegiate in the Knockout Cup on Sunday.
Their 2nds beat Heworth by four runs in Division One of the York Senior League.
Tadcaster Magnets’ Paul Clark bowled his way into the record books of the York Senior League on Saturday.
He ripped apart Hornsea to claim 9-25 in 17.1 overs of the Division Two contest.
It’s the best bowling performance in the league since 2007.
Paul Downey took the other wicket to skittle out Hornsea for 88, which set up a seven-wicket victory for leaders Magnet at 92-3. Rich Cattle hit 35.
In the Premier Division, Studley Royal and Sessay’s contest was abadoned due to a waterlogged pitch.
Thorp Arch and Boston Spa beat Hull 2nds by 53 runs in Division Two, and Ripon drew with Pocklington in Division Three.
Meantime, in the Aire Wharfe League, there were top flight wins for Collingham over Guiseley and Follifoot over Thackley.
Beckwithshaw lost to Kirkstall, and Bilton to Otley.
In Division Two, Knaresborough lost to Rawdon, but Bardsey trounced Uppper Wharfedale.
They reached 261-8 before dismissing Wharfedale for 192.
Saturday’s Wetherby League action saw Wetherby beat Barwick by three wickets, Sicklinghall beat Great Preston by 47 runs, Old Mods defeat Kirk Deighton by 69 runs, Walton defeat Scarcroft and Shadwell lost to Leeds Police.
